The following outlines the costs for using your SIMplus mobile in Australia to make overseas calls:
For each call you make you will be charged:
- A flagfall of 30c - this is a once off fee per
international call made which is answered.
- The cost of the call - which will depend on the
country being called. Calls are charged per 30 seconds.

Per 30 second call rates:
Calls will be charged per 30 seconds. So for example if the call is between 31 seconds and 60 seconds you would be charged for a 60 second call, even if the call is only 35 seconds long.
How to use IDD:
- On your handset you will see a + sign. This key
replaces dialling 0011 to dial a number outside of Australia. To activate the
+ key, press the * key twice quickly, and the + sign will appear on your
screen.
- Now enter the country code for the country you want
to call
- Then dial the area code without the first 0 (zero)
you wish to call, and then the rest of the number.
- For international SMS you follow the same procedure. The cost of international SMS is 35c per message of up to 160 characters.
Premium Services:
You should also be aware that when SIMplus International Direct Dial is activated on your phone it also gives you access to Premium services, such as 190 services which are usually charged at a higher rate than normal calls. Examples of these calls are ringtones, voting and competition entries.

Please note the above charges are only for International Direct Dial, which is making calls from within Australia to overseas. If you wish to use your SIMplus mobile when overseas (Roaming), please call 1300 767 767 to set up Roaming*.
