Mobile Alert

Manage your Phone Bill

What is it?
Mobile Alert is a service offered by SIMplus allowing you to manage your phone bill easily and effectively. You simply set an Alert Amount on your account and SIMplus will send you a text message within 72 hours of the Alert Amount being reached.

How does it work?
Mobile Alert can be activated with your dealer or by contacting Customer Service. You simply select an Alert Amount and when the Alert Amount is exceeded an SMS will be sent advising of the unbilled call charges*. You will be asked to set an Alert Amount that is no less than your minimum monthly commitment.

*Unbilled call charges do not include calls made after the date stated in SMS, access fees and discounts, international roaming charges or GST.

What will I receive?
The text of the SMS you will receive is:
Unbilled calls for (mobile number) are $xx.xx Amount does not include access fees, discounts, international roaming charges, GST or calls made since yyyy/mm/dd.

Who can use it?
Mobile Alert is available to most customers on personal plans. It is not available to customers on Business plans or Cap plans.

What does it cost?
Each Alert message is 75 cents. The charge is displayed as a normal SMS on your invoice and will be itemised in the Text Message section of your invoice.

How often can the Alert Amount be changed?
You can change your Alert Amount once per month.

Mobile Assist

Giving you control

What is it?
Mobile Assist is a service offered by SIMplus to help you stay in control of your bill.

How do I use it?
Just SMS 'BALANCE' to 199 SPEND (199 77 363), and you will receive an SMS reply stating the current unbilled call charges*.

*Unbilled call charges do not include calls made after the date stated in SMS, access fees and discounts, international roaming charges or GST.

What will I receive?
The text of the SMS you will receive is:
Unbilled calls for (mobile number) are $xx.xx Amount does not include access fees, discounts, international roaming charges, GST or calls made since yyyy/mm/dd.

Who can use it?
Mobile Assist is available to most customers on personal plans. It is not available to customers on Business plans or Cap plans.

What does it cost?
Each Assist message is 55 cents. The charge is displayed as a normal SMS to 199 77 363 on your invoice and will be itemised in the Text Message section of the your invoice.
